Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Support Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in delivering speech and language therapy services to students.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
- Provide therapy to address speech articulation, fluency, language development, and social communication skills.
- Track and document student progress and report updates to the supervising SLPs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure the effective delivery of therapy services.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, goals, and progress notes.
Requirements:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Active SLPA certification in Washington, DC (or eligibility to obtain).
- Experience working with children or in school settings is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well within a team and be flexible with your approach to student care.
